I was running a very successful company business with an annual turnover in excess of $5 million dollars. I branched out into some investments with partners and the investments didn’t work out. The contractors l was working under were slow paying and my bank was notified of my guarantees to the investment projects and they withdrew my overdraft facility. This placed my business with NO cash flow to trade on and l would have run the risk of trading whilst insolvent as a company director.
